The Tomb, Sister Studio owned by Dean Wuksta. For tracking drums or live bands this room is ideal. As a drummer Dean is meticulous about his drum sounds, we get great results here.

All of us in the band have learned so much about how the recording process works and what is needed to get the results we are seeking. The end result is exactly what we originally hoped for…Trigger Legends http://www.myspace.com/triggerlegends

Thanks for the mixes, have passed them around a bit and every one is impressed. Lined up against the other recordings I’ve done I can’t find anything with a better sound, which is amazing considering how easy it all was. Some stuff that I’ve done previously has a different character to it, but in terms of fidelity and clarity this one has been the best.Craig Sinclair http://www.craigsinclair.com.au/

“Mike I’m so impressed with the way you’ve been able to capture the sound of this instrument so beautifully,- it’s sounding really fantastic. As a recording engineer you have a great sense of what is needed – you’re a natural. But of course your great instinct with music is also backed up with a huge amount of knowledge and experience. It’s an honour to work with you!”Sally Quealy

Available for sessions.

I am available for session work on your project. I own a variety of high quality guitars and play acoustic and electric. Check out my bio for more information on my styles.

Do you need a drummer?

There are many drummers out there, but an experienced studio drummer can be hard to find. Dean Wuksta is my drummer of choice for all my recordings. All our work is done by the internet. We the build the basic tracks to a click, Dean imports the files into his setup, adds drums and sends them back as 24 bit wavs for me to edit on my system. Voila!

About

Voted Best Blues Artist of 2011 by Global Thunda Network, Mike De Velta's intoxicating compositions
and performances are constantly on the move. A rich showcase of modern delta, slide and piedmont
blues expressed with a hint of the Eastern through the shimmering and delightful tones of lap slide, resonator and acoustic guitars.
