Mike de Velta

Australian Blues, Folk and Roots Artist

Time after time

Posted on | September 13, 2008 | 2 Comments

Cyndi Laupers Time after time is an absolute classic track which has been covered by many artists, Miles Davis’s instrumental version being one of my favourites.
Here is my contribution to the legacy of Time after Time.
This is an instrumental interpretation played on a 53 Les Paul Gold Top all produced in a home studio.
The drums were recorded and played seperately in the studio of Dean Wuksta who appears throughout the clip.

About

Typically associated with the Blues and Roots movement and acoustic in nature Mike De Velta's intoxicating compositions and performances are constantly on the move. A rich showcase of modern folk, blues and a hint of the eastern expressed through the shimmering and delightful tones of lap slide, ukulele and acoustic guitars.
